Nathalie is a Franco-Irish theatre-maker, actor and voice-over artist and the co-founder of Purple Hare Theatre Company.
Over the past five years, she has brought 12 new works to the stage as a performer, creative producer, and/or director. The driving force behind her work to date has been the exploration of vulnerability, and more especially grief and the human need to belong.
Both as a performer and a theatre-maker, Nathalie is particularly interested in realist works grounded in modernity, as well as on societal and cultural differences. Her ambition is to produce professional original work with a high production value and with a strong focus on physical performance, triggering an emotional response and staying with its audience.
In 2019, she was awarded an Arts bursary by the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to develop a solo show, Nun On The Run!, that she subsequently previewed in the dlr Lexicon. In 2021, she was awarded a Professional Development (Theatre) grant by the Arts Council of Ireland.
Nathalie was awarded an M.A in International Marketing by Rouen Business School (France), and an M.B.A from the Telfer School of Management (Ottawa, Canada). Nathalie then studied at The Lir Academy and The Gaiety School Of Acting before graduating from the first full-time Programme for Screen Acting at the Bow Street Academy where she trained with Gerry Grennell, Shimmy Marcus, Stephen Bridgewater, Maureen Hughes, and Lance Daly among others. Her voice and acting coach is Helena Walsh.
Her objective as an artist is to create and deliver relatable and transformative experiences: initiating a focused, emotional and genuine connection with audiences. In today’s world, the ability to connect with our own emotions is more and more restricted. She believes that art is more necessary than it ever was and her primary motivation as an artist is to foster and support the creation and freeing of emotions.
Nathalie is represented by Althea Screen Actors Agency and Voicebank Voices. She is a member of Irish Equity and Spotlight. She currently resides in Dublin, Ireland, and has bases in both London and Paris.
